چکیده

The first metal enrichment in the universe was made by supernova (SN) explosions of population (Pop) III stars. The trace remains in abundance patterns of extremely metalpoor (EMP) stars. We investigate the properties of nucleosynthesis in Pop III SNe by means of comparing their yields with the abundance patterns of the EMP stars. We focus on (1) jetinduced SNe with various energy deposition rates [Ėdep = (0.3− 1500) × 10 ergs s], and (2) SNe of stars with various main-sequence masses (Mms = 13 − 50M⊙) and explosion energies [E = (1− 40) × 10ergs]. The varieties of Pop III SNe can explain varieties of the EMP stars: (1) higher [C/Fe] for lower [Fe/H] and (2) trends of abundance ratios [X/Fe] against [Fe/H].

Neutrinos, Oscillations, and Big Bang Nucleosynthesis

The role of neutrinos in big bang nucleosynthesis is reviewed. Neutrino oscillations in the early universe both in resonance and non-resonance case are briefly discussed. BBN and supernova limits on heavy sterile neutrinos with the mass in 10-100 MeV range are presented and compared with direct experimental bounds.

Nucleosynthesis in early supernova winds III: No significant contribution from neutron-rich pockets

Recent nucleosynthesis calculations of Type II supernovae using advanced neutrino transport determine that the early neutrino winds are proton-rich. However, a fraction of the ejecta emitted at the same time is composed of neutron-rich pockets. In this paper we calculate the nucleosynthesis contribution from the neutron-rich pockets in the hot convective bubbles of a core-collapse supernova and...

Spallative Nucleosynthesis in Supernova Remnants I. Analytical Estimates

Spallative nucleosynthesis is thought to be the only process capable of producing significant amount of Beryllium (Be) in the universe. Therefore, both energetic particles (EPs) and nuclei to be spalled (most efficiently C, N and O nuclei in this case) are required, which indicates that supernovae (SNe) may be directly involved in the synthesis of the Be nuclei observed in the halo stars of the...

Injection of Short-Lived Radionuclides into the Early Solar System from a Faint Supernova with Mixing-Fallback

Several short-lived radionuclides (SLRs) were present in the early solar system, some of which should have formed just prior to or soon after the solar system formation. Stellar nucleosynthesis has been proposed as the mechanism for production of SLRs in the solar system, but no appropriate stellar source has been found to explain the abundances of all solar system SLRs. In this study, we propo...
